========================================= *****Martini on the Rocks Map Pack Readme***** ========================================= Installation ============================= Minimal PC system requirements: Valve's Source SDK installed - it's free Goldeneye: Source 4.1 mod 1.7 GHz Processor, 512MB RAM, DirectX® 8.1 level Graphics Card (Requires support for SSE) Windows® 7 (32/64-bit)/Vista/XP W/ Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection Recommended: Quad-core Processor or above 4GB RAM DirectX 10/11 Graphics Card, Windows Vista/7 (32/64 Bit) W/ Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection ***Note *** These are Min/Rec hardware requirements used for Valve's Half-life 2: Episode 2 and are to be used as a guideline only. Manual Installation ----------- Drag the 'gesource' folder from the Martini on the Rocks zip onto your currently installed 'gesource' folder to merge them, just overwrite any pop-ups asking to do so, and you're done. **Here's the long way if you're not comfortable merging folders** Double click the zip to open Martini of the Rocks map pack, the folder inside should be called 'gesource' Open GoldeneEye: Source 4.1 directory For Windows 32bit – X:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods\gesource For Windows 64bit - X:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods\gesource -Open the 'map' folder in the zip as well as the 'maps' folder in your gesource directory -Extract or drag the map file from the zip to your gesource maps directory (“\gesource\maps”). -Go back to the main directory and open the 'scripts' folder. Do the same with your gesource install folder (“\gesource\scripts\”). -Extract the contents of this folder (a soundscape text file) into the gesource script folder In the zip, open the 'music' folder as well as within your gesource directory (“\gesource\scripts\music”) Extract the content from this zip directory to your scripts\music directory Go back to the root directory of the zip and open the 'sound' folder. Open the 'music' folder contained within it. Do the same with your gesource install folder (“\gesource\sound\music”). Extract the the content of this zip directory to your (“\gesource sound\music”) directory ***Note*** If you have installed previous versions of these maps, you may be asked to overwrite files when copying them from the zip to your installation folder.
